A FOUNDATION FOR THE FUTURE
In Fall 2013, we proudly announced the establishment of the University Laboratory School Foundation (ULSF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization. The Foundation is dedicated to supporting the Lab School’s dual missions – to design and deliver the best possible education to its students and to serve the educational research and development community. ULSF is the fundraising entity through which contributions flow to the University Laboratory School, the ULS Alumni Association, and the ULS Booster Club. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors composed of volunteer legal, business and educational leaders.
ULSF supports and advances the mission of the Lab School by encouraging private philanthropy. Private support is critical to the future of University Laboratory School as state funding provides inadequate funding for core programs, training and professional development for faculty and staff, facilities renovation, and necessary instruments, tools and equipment for the Lab School’s unique music, art, and technology programs.
One of the Foundation’s priorities is to raise funds for improved facilities at University Laboratory School that will enable ULS to fulfill its mission through the 21st century. Another is to build a financial endowment which will provide enduring support for students, faculty and programs in perpetuity. We urge you to join us. If you are interested in supporting the University Laboratory School, please consider making a gift, pledge or planned gift. We are grateful for your partnership.
